Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Swimming Start, 1956 by Lev Borodulin was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in London in June 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,780.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lev Borodulin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Parade (1956); and Gymnasts (1964), which sold at auction in April 2000 for USD 5,287.50 (€ 5,817.47).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.780,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
