Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Christies in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Bicycle Races On A Track, 1964 by Lev Borodulin. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,780.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lev Borodulin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Parade (1956); and Gymnasts (1964), which sold at auction in April 2000 for USD 5,287.50 (€ 5,817.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bicycle Races On A Track, 1964 von Lev Borodulin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.780,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lev Borodulin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Parade (1956); and Gymnasts (1964) beobachtet, die im April 2000 für USD 5.287,50 (€ 5.817,47) versteigert wurde.
