Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Words from the Stones by Leung Kui-Ting was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,232.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leung Kui-Ting have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roaming Vision – The Cloud, Rain And Pine Of Mount Huang Ii in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 22,900.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Words from the Stones von Leung Kui-Ting wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.232,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leung Kui-Ting auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roaming Vision – The Cloud, Rain And Pine Of Mount Huang Ii im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 22.900,49).
