Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Real Or Fake by Leung Kui-Ting for USD 34,600.00 (€ 21,891.81). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Asia at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Leung Kui-Ting have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2015 by the work Roaming Vision – The Cloud, Rain And Pine Of Mount Huang Ii at HKD 187,500.00 (€ 22,900.49).

Im März 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Real Or Fake von Leung Kui-Ting für USD 34.600,00 (€ 21.891,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Leung Kui-Ting wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2015 die Arbeit Roaming Vision – The Cloud, Rain And Pine Of Mount Huang Ii mit HKD 187.500,00 (€ 22.900,49).
