Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A young woman in a red dress by Leopold Schmutzler was sold in the Paintings, furniture and varia auction at Bruun Rasmussen in December this year. Here, the upper estimate of DKK 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for DKK 9,000.00 (€ 1,207.38). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leopold Schmutzler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Nude on the Beach in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 47,000.00 (€ 50,385.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A young woman in a red dress von Leopold Schmutzler wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von DKK 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für DKK 9.000,00 (€ 1.207,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leopold Schmutzler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Nude on the Beach im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.000,00 (€ 50.385,93).
