This price was achieved in the auction Alte Kunst at VAN HAM and exceeded the previously set estimate of EUR 1,800.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Leopold Schmutzler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Nude on the Beach in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 47,000.00 (€ 50,385.93).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Alte Kunst bei VAN HAM erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten Schätzpreis von EUR 1.800,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leopold Schmutzler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Nude on the Beach im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.000,00 (€ 50.385,93).
