Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 37,704.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leopold Alphons Mielich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Austrian the Pottery Seller in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 221,000.00 (€ 303,483.96).

Die Arbeit Austrian The Ful Seller von Leopold Alphons Mielich kam im März 2009 bei Sothebys in Doha zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 37.704,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
