Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Austrian The Discussion by Leopold Alphons Mielich was auctioned at Sothebys in Doha in March 2009. The price achieved of USD 74,500.00 (€ 56,179.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leopold Alphons Mielich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Austrian the Pottery Seller in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 221,000.00 (€ 303,483.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Austrian The Discussion von Leopold Alphons Mielich kam im März 2009 bei Sothebys in Doha zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 56.179,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leopold Alphons Mielich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Austrian the Pottery Seller im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 221.000,00 (€ 303.483,96).
