The work Tolstoy At Home by Leonid Pasternak was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2007. It achieved a price of GBP 74,400.00 (€ 110,405.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 49%. Admittedly, works by Leonid Pasternak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 608,316.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tolstoy At Home von Leonid Pasternak kam im Juni 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 74.400,00 (€ 110.405,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonid Pasternak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roses im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 481.250,00 (€ 608.316,14).
