A top price for Leonid Pasternak - as previously expected
The work Roses by Leonid Pasternak was sold in the Russian Art Evening sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2008. It changed hands for a price of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 608,316.14) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Roses is the most expensive artwork by Leonid Pasternak that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Roses von Leonid Pasternak wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion Russian Art Evening sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 481.250,00 (€ 608.316,14) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300.000,00 – 500.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Roses das teuerste Kunstwerk von Leonid Pasternak, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
