Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Art Day Sale, which included the work Danaë And The Shower Of Gold by Leonid Pasternak. The price achieved of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,989.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonid Pasternak achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 608,316.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Danaë And The Shower Of Gold von Leonid Pasternak zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.989,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonid Pasternak erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roses im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 481.250,00 (€ 608.316,14).
