Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Leonid Pasternak could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Art Evening auction, the work Still Life With Roses changed hands for GBP 181,250.00 (€ 219,144.87) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonid Pasternak - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Roses, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 481,250.00 (€ 608,316.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leonid Pasternak konnte im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Art Evening wechselte die Arbeit Still Life With Roses für GBP 181.250,00 (€ 219.144,87) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonid Pasternak mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Roses beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 481.250,00 (€ 608.316,14) versteigert wurde.
