Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Leonid Pasternak could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Paintings auction, the work Portrait Of Leo Tolstoy changed hands for GBP 67,250.00 (€ 78,507.49) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leonid Pasternak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 608,316.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leonid Pasternak konnte im November 2011 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Portrait Of Leo Tolstoy für GBP 67.250,00 (€ 78.507,49) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonid Pasternak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roses im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 481.250,00 (€ 608.316,14).
