The work Portrait Of Judith Spat by Leonid Pasternak was sold in the Russian Paintings Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2009. It achieved a price of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 48,787.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonid Pasternak achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 608,316.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of Judith Spat von Leonid Pasternak wurde im Dezember 2009 in der Auktion Russian Paintings Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 48.787,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonid Pasternak erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roses im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 481.250,00 (€ 608.316,14).
