In November 2006 Christies in London held the auction Important Russian Pictures, which included the work Still Life With Laburnum by Leonid Pasternak. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 42,000.00 (€ 62,371.31), 40% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Leonid Pasternak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 608,316.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im November 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Laburnum von Leonid Pasternak zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 42.000,00 (€ 62.371,31) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonid Pasternak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roses im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 481.250,00 (€ 608.316,14).
