Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of Mrs Shalit by Leonid Pasternak was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2005. The price achieved of GBP 102,000.00 (€ 149,850.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 85,000.00 – 115,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leonid Pasternak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 608,316.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of Mrs Shalit von Leonid Pasternak kam im November 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 102.000,00 (€ 149.850,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 85.000,00 – 115.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonid Pasternak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roses im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 481.250,00 (€ 608.316,14).
