Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Workers in the field; and Stopping to feed the horses by Leonid Ignatevich Vaishlya was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2007. The price achieved of GBP 384.00 (€ 565.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonid Ignatevich Vaishlya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Corn blowing in the wind; Farm workers, which sold at auction in April 2007 for GBP 900.00 (€ 1,317.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Workers in the field; and Stopping to feed the horses von Leonid Ignatevich Vaishlya kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 384,00 (€ 565,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonid Ignatevich Vaishlya mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Corn blowing in the wind; Farm workers beobachtet, die im April 2007 für GBP 900,00 (€ 1.317,72) versteigert wurde.
