Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work The village at dusk; and Winter in Babino by Leonid Ignatevich Vaishlya for GBP 264.00 (€ 388.49). This price was achieved in the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonid Ignatevich Vaishlya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Corn blowing in the wind; Farm workers, which sold at auction in April 2007 for GBP 900.00 (€ 1,317.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
