Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 384.00 (€ 565.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonid Ignatevich Vaishlya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Corn blowing in the wind; Farm workers, which sold at auction in April 2007 for GBP 900.00 (€ 1,317.72).
