In the Impressionist & Modern Art including Russian and Latin American Art auction, the work Sand-Hills changed hands for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,541.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leonid Berman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diabolo Players in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 17,640.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Leonid Berman konnte im Oktober 2009 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art including Russian and Latin American Art wechselte die Arbeit Sand-Hills für USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.541,51) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonid Berman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Diabolo Players im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.640,00.
