Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Paesaggio montano con Cervino sullo sfondo by Leonardo Roda was auctioned at Il Ponte in April 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 7,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 5,000.00. Other works by Leonardo Roda have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2001 by the work Il Cervino, 1916 at EUR 7,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Paesaggio montano con Cervino sullo sfondo von Leonardo Roda im April 2015 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 5.000,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Leonardo Roda wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2001 die Arbeit Il Cervino, 1916 mit EUR 7.350,00.
