Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Leonardo Roda could be acquired at Il Ponte in May 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dipinti e sculture XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Cime innevate changed hands for EUR 1,300.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leonardo Roda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Il Cervino, 1916 in June 2001 with an auction result of EUR 7,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leonardo Roda konnte im Mai 2018 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dipinti e sculture XIX e XX Secolo wechselte die Arbeit Cime innevate für EUR 1.300,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonardo Roda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Il Cervino, 1916 im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.350,00.
