Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work La Grivola by Leonardo Roda was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,300.00. Admittedly, works by Leonardo Roda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Il Cervino, 1916 in June 2001 with an auction result of EUR 7,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit La Grivola von Leonardo Roda im Mai 2018 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.300,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonardo Roda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Il Cervino, 1916 im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.350,00.
