In June 2021 Il Ponte held the auction 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Il Cervino by Leonardo Roda. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,700.00 70% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Leonardo Roda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Il Cervino, 1916 in June 2001 with an auction result of EUR 7,350.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Il Ponte die Auktion 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Il Cervino von Leonardo Roda zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.700,00 und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonardo Roda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Il Cervino, 1916 im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.350,00.
