Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Paesaggio montano con caprette al pascolo by Leonardo Roda was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 650.00 – 700.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonardo Roda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Cervino, 1916 in June 2001 with an auction result of EUR 7,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Paesaggio montano con caprette al pascolo von Leonardo Roda im November 2016 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 650,00 – 700,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 600,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonardo Roda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il Cervino, 1916 im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.350,00.
