In June 2011 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work L'Ombra Calda by Leonardo Cremonini. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 27,150.00 36% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Leonardo Cremonini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Obstacles, Parcours et Reflets (Ostacoli, Percorsi e Riflessi) (diptych) in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 138,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 36 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2011 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Ombra Calda von Leonardo Cremonini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 27.150,00 und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonardo Cremonini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Obstacles, Parcours et Reflets (Ostacoli, Percorsi e Riflessi) (diptych) im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 138.600,00.
