Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Evening Sale / Collection Passion…Passions, which included the work The End of the party (La Fine di una festa) by Leonardo Cremonini. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 52,920.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonardo Cremonini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Obstacles, Parcours et Reflets (Ostacoli, Percorsi e Riflessi) (diptych), which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 138,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain Evening Sale / Collection Passion…Passions durch, in der auch die Arbeit The End of the party (La Fine di una festa) von Leonardo Cremonini zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 52.920,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonardo Cremonini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Obstacles, Parcours et Reflets (Ostacoli, Percorsi e Riflessi) (diptych) beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 138.600,00 versteigert wurde.
