Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work A quiet country stream by Leonard Ochtman for USD 2,151.00 (€ 1,588.86). This price was achieved in the auction THE HOUSE SALE at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonard Ochtman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winter Tones in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 21,150.00 (€ 22,673.67).

Im Dezember 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A quiet country stream von Leonard Ochtman für USD 2.151,00 (€ 1.588,86) erwerben. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Winter Tones im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.150,00 (€ 22.673,67).
