The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,755.00 69% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Léon Weissberg; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Scene De Rue sold at auction in March 2011 with the realized price of EUR 10,838.00.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.755,00 und damit 69% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Léon Weissberg; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Scene De Rue im März 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 10.838,00.
