In the Two Centuries: American Art auction, the work Rocky Inlet sold for USD 11,970.00 (€ 10,193.31) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leon Kroll achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lower Manhattan in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 178,078.53).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Leon Kroll erzielte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Two Centuries: American Art wurde die Arbeit Rocky Inlet für USD 11.970,00 (€ 10.193,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leon Kroll erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lower Manhattan im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 178.078,53).
