Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 100,800.00 (€ 82,420.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leon Kroll - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lower Manhattan, which sold at auction in June 2020 for USD 200,000.00 (€ 178,078.53).
