In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work In The Orchard by Leon Kroll for USD 4,032.00 (€ 3,652.17). This price was achieved in the auction The Collector: New York at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leon Kroll achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lower Manhattan in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 178,078.53).
