Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chaim by Leon Kossoff was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in London in December 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 956.25 (€ 1,140.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leon Kossoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Willesden Junction - Autumn Afternoon in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 1,388,750.00 (€ 1,566,467.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chaim von Leon Kossoff wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 956,25 (€ 1.140,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leon Kossoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Willesden Junction - Autumn Afternoon im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.388.750,00 (€ 1.566.467,81).
