In October 2008 Christies in Paris held the auction Intérieurs, which included the work Maisons au bord d'une rivière by Leon Kelly. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,500.00 39% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leon Kelly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Messenger (Man With Kites) in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 45,376.17).

Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Intérieurs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Maisons au bord d'une rivière von Leon Kelly zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.500,00 und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leon Kelly erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Messenger (Man With Kites) im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 45.376,17).
