This work without title by Leon Golub was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in April 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,941.35), 61% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leon Golub achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work White Squad X in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 197,000.00 (€ 158,385.59).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Leon Golub wurde im April 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.941,35) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leon Golub erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit White Squad X im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 197.000,00 (€ 158.385,59).
