Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Christies in London held the auction British & European Art, which included the work Portrait de Femme au turban fleuri by Léon François Comerre. The price achieved of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 48,799.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Léon François Comerre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French Le Triomphe Du Cygne in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 240,500.00 (€ 336,762.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion British & European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait de Femme au turban fleuri von Léon François Comerre zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 48.799,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Léon François Comerre auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French Le Triomphe Du Cygne im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 240.500,00 (€ 336.762,22).
