Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2012 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Running Up Slope by Leo K. K. Wong. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 38,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 40,000.00 (€ 3,897.50). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leo K. K. Wong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dreaming Of Spring, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,012.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2012 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Running Up Slope von Leo K. K. Wong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 38.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 40.000,00 (€ 3.897,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Leo K. K. Wong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dreaming Of Spring beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.012,49) versteigert wurde.
