Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Colours Of Spring by Leo K. K. Wong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,069.03), 15% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leo K. K. Wong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dreaming Of Spring, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,012.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Colours Of Spring von Leo K. K. Wong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.069,03) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Leo K. K. Wong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dreaming Of Spring beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.012,49) versteigert wurde.
