In May 2020 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Online, which included the work La Ferme by Léo Gausson. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,750.00 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Léo Gausson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Triel-sur-Seine in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 55,373.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2020 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Ferme von Léo Gausson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.750,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Léo Gausson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Triel-sur-Seine im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 55.373,44).
