Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Composition", 1952 by Lennart Olson was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,515.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Lennart Olson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Rött ljus/Red light, Stockholm", 1970 in May 2017 with an auction result of SEK 70,000.00 (€ 7,176.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Composition", 1952 von Lennart Olson wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.515,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lennart Olson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Rött ljus/Red light, Stockholm", 1970 im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 70.000,00 (€ 7.176,93).
