Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Rape Of Ganymede by Lelio Orsi was sold in the Old Master Drawings incl.Leonardo da Vinci's Horse and Rider auction at Christies in London in July 2001. The price achieved of GBP 25,850.00 (€ 42,094.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lelio Orsi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Leda And The Swan in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,497,000.00 (€ 1,008,692.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Rape Of Ganymede von Lelio Orsi wurde im Juli 2001 in der Auktion Old Master Drawings incl.Leonardo da Vinci's Horse and Rider bei Christies in London versteigert.
