This artwork by Lelio Orsi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2005. In the Old Master Pictures & Drawings auction, the work The Madonna and Child with the Infant Baptist in a landscape sold for GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,315.28) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lelio Orsi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Leda And The Swan in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,497,000.00 (€ 1,008,692.14).

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Leda And The Swan im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.497.000,00 (€ 1.008.692,14).
