Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2019 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Phillips x Artsy: Wrapped/Unwrapped, which included the work Rose Windows by Leif Ritchey. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,226.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leif Ritchey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lady Bug, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,847.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Wrapped/Unwrapped durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rose Windows von Leif Ritchey zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.226,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Leif Ritchey mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lady Bug beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.847,72) versteigert wurde.
