In April 2018 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Marilyn Monroe photographed in Los Angeles at Bel Air Hotel, June 27th 1962". by Leif-Erik Nygards. The result of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,780.02) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leif-Erik Nygards - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Marilyn Monroe, Bel Air Hotel, June 27th 1962", which sold at auction in November 2012 for SEK 90,000.00 (€ 10,383.55).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2018 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Marilyn Monroe photographed in Los Angeles at Bel Air Hotel, June 27th 1962". von Leif-Erik Nygards zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.780,02) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Leif-Erik Nygards mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Marilyn Monroe, Bel Air Hotel, June 27th 1962" beobachtet, die im November 2012 für SEK 90.000,00 (€ 10.383,55) versteigert wurde.
