In May 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Don’t believe the Hype, which included the work Fuck It You Title It -1996 by Lee Quiñones. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,150.00 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lee Quiñones have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dance Band in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 75,600.00 (€ 65,443.21).

Im Mai 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Don’t believe the Hype durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fuck It You Title It -1996 von Lee Quiñones zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.150,00 und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lee Quiñones auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Dance Band im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 65.443,21).
