Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Neutrogena - Ageless Neutrogena by Lee Kit was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,064.97). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lee Kit - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Johnson's- No More Tears, which sold at auction in March 2015 for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 52,543.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Neutrogena - Ageless Neutrogena von Lee Kit wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.064,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lee Kit mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Johnson's- No More Tears beobachtet, die im März 2015 für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 52.543,99) versteigert wurde.
