In January 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included this untitled work by Leandro Velasco. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,516.07), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Leandro Velasco; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Female subject with flowers seated on the subway sold at auction in October 2006 with the realized price of USD 2,400.00 (€ 1,878.96).

Im Januar 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Leandro Velasco zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.516,07) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Leandro Velasco; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Female subject with flowers seated on the subway im Oktober 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 2.400,00 (€ 1.878,96).
