In the The House Sale auction, the work Homage to the San Oco #3 sold for USD 2,160.00 (€ 1,691.07) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Leandro Velasco; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Female subject with flowers seated on the subway sold at auction in October 2006 with the realized price of USD 2,400.00 (€ 1,878.96).
