Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Lea Nikel was sold in the Israeli & International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2015. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,662.31) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lea Nikel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in December 2014 for USD 56,250.00 (€ 46,483.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lea Nikel wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.662,31) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lea Nikel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Dezember 2014 für USD 56.250,00 (€ 46.483,76) versteigert wurde.
