Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lea Nikel could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in December 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Israeli & International Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,362.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lea Nikel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in December 2014 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 46,483.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lea Nikel konnte im Dezember 2014 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Israeli & International Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.362,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lea Nikel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 46.483,76).
